There is more to Emma than meets the eye. A display typeface named after my friend, Emma, who has helped me embrace the stranger and more complex side of life. The typeface was conceptualized and designed from a symbol I created called the "double question-mark." Emma is made for all of the young women out there who are not afraid to ask question after question and are interested in exploring the deeper and more profound aspects
of existence.

Poster
The spirit of this typeface is about reveling in the strange, the illusionary, and the organic. This type specimen poster is a visual representation of these themes, with Emma's face composed of the typeface letters, juxtaposed on a background meant to reflect the double-question mark both formally and conceptually. The poster also displays the typeface in action and invites the viewer to interact with it, to look closer at it than they might have otherwise.
