Mom's Magic Box is a self-care and resource kit designed for Black mothers living in the Fillmore District in San Francisco, sponsored by a local community organization, Mo' Magic. This kit is filled with items such as baby formula, baby clothes, feminine care products, and a Bay Area Resource Guide to aid low-income, single mothers in need. It also comes with posters of encouragement and a tote bag. 

 

All items in the self-care kit are designed with colors and symbols that represent different aspects of motherhood, and images of influential Black mothers throughout history adorn the poster and tote bag. Mom's Magic Box aims to be a tool for Black mothers in making their day to day lives a bit easier, as well as to encourage pride and strength in their identities as both women of color and as moms.
