Berkeley Commons
Environmental Design | 2024
Beacon Capital’s new marquee property is a three-story science campus that sits along the Berkeley waterfront, providing an “indoor/outdoor working environment that perfectly complements its picturesque location along San Francisco Bay.” Our team at Volume Inc. was tasked with creating an on-site marketing suite to showcase the potential experience and offerings of the building and its surrounding environment.
The development is poised to be a fount of discovery and knowledge—growth—situated between the water of San Francisco Bay and the land of Berkeley. Using those three foundational elements of nature, we created a design experience that embodies their synergy. Just like the building, the design fuses the refined sheen of the man-made in the 2D elements with raw wood structures (fabricated by Jupitr Studios) that evoke Berkeley Commons’ natural setting.
